Daniel Grant (Dan), Manager, joined Meisel, Tuteur & Lewis, P.C. in the fall of 2011 to help expand the firm’s audit practice. As a manager at the firm, his responsibilities include overseeing all phases of audit, review, compilation, attestation, and business consulting engagements. Dan has extensive experience in areas of manufacturing, hospitality, real estate, employee benefit plans, investment companies, and not-for-profit organizations. The combination of a comprehensive approach and his expertise gained by managing various engagements throughout his professional career, enable him to provide recommendations to help drive client profitability and improve their internal controls.
Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). In 2011, he was selected as an Honorable Mention for the NJCPA’s 2011 “30 Under 30” list, which recognizes members of the community that display a unique combination of society participation, accounting profession involvement, and community service dedication. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Head Start Community Program of Morris County, where he held positions as both President and Vice President. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Montclair State University.
When Dan is not in the office he enjoys traveling around the world embracing the cultures and foods of the countries he visits.
