General Responsibilities

• Take a lead role on audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries including, but not limited to, Investment Funds, Broker Dealers, Real Estate, and Employee Benefit Plans
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Audit Associates and Senior Associates throughout the planning, field work and wrap-up stages of an audit client engagement, and direct and review results
• Draft complex financial statements and review any required filings
• Resolve complex accounting issues (apply GAAP and GAAS consistently within complex situations/write technical consultation memos on GAAP and GAAS issues)
• Document, validate, test and assess various financial reporting control systems
• Communicate with Partner on work status and client issues that arise
• Ensure engagement profitability

Experience and Qualifications

• Must have CPA certification or sufficient educational/experience requirements
• Experience must include the following:
  • Applying GAAS, GAAP, and PCAOB regulations;
  • Resolving complex accounting issues;
  • Auditing public and private companies;
  • Reviewing financial statements with disclosures;
  • Reviewing engagement profitability, including billings and collections;
  • Microsoft office products, including Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Using various assurance applications and research tools (PPC Checkpoint, Engagement, etc.)
